Leagues

Evergreen Curling Club (ECC) welcomes curlers of all skill levels. Multiple leagues are available for curlers of all levels of experience from novice to highly competitive.

Member Leagues

ECC offers member leagues seven nights a week during the curling season, as well as some daytime leagues. We run three sessions per year: Fall, Winter, and Spring.  A current ECC membership is required  before you are allowed to register for a member league. Please check the current league list for more information.

ECC typically offers one Doubles league per session.

Participation in Learn to Curl and Curling 101 is recommended (but not required) for individuals new to the sport prior to joining a member league.

Non-Member Leagues

ECC welcomes non-members and visiting members of other clubs to register for Friday Friends games.  Visiting members of other clubs may also contact us to inquire about further opportunities.

Registration

League registration is first-come-first serve after our pre-registration period.  In the fall session, pre-registration is open to the top volunteers in the club from the previous season.  For winter session, participants in full fall leagues may re-register for their spot during the pre-registration period.

Not all leagues may be offered during all sessions.  Tuesday night competitive league is for full, pre-made teams only.  Individual registration is welcome in all other leagues, and all participants must register.  All of our leagues are "open" unless otherwise specified, meaning any gender or combination of gender may form a team.

ECC Membership is required prior to accessing league registration.

League fees for Winter 2025 vary from $105-384 depending on date/time.

Registration for Winter 2025 is currently open for Fall League players returning to the same league and will open Sunday, December 8 at 4:30 p.m. for open registration for all players and all leagues.

League Scheduling Policies

  • League Registration is open to current club members only.  All players and subs must be current club members - with the exception of Friday Friends single-game players and the Monday X-League (which is only offered in spring).
  • Registration is first-come / first-serve for individuals, and if you are making a team request, all individuals on that team must register themselves.  In the event that a teammate does not register before the league is full, you may have a single player assigned to your team in their place.  Curlers registering without a pre-formed team will be assigned a team by the Draw Coordinator. (Tuesday and Doubles have exceptions, see below)
  • Tuesday Evening league registration is done individually (all must register) however all players must have a pre-formed team.  You may not register without a pre-planned team.
  • Saturday Doubles registration is for a full team.  One player registers both members of the team at the same time, and the two players work out the finances on their own.  There is no individual entry, however ECC can provide assistance in finding you a partner, if desired.
  • In the event that byes are scheduled after registration, a code may be issued good for any one Friday Friends game, when available.
  • Registration may close early, based on the number of positions remaining and how that translates into sheets and teams.
  • Teams are responsible for re-scheduling missed games, including due to weather.  Refunds will not be issued for missed games.
  • All ECC league teams may have any combination of genders.
  • Leagues with two draw times are "split shift" leagues, meaning that you will play some games at the earlier time and some at the later time.   The later time will be used only if more than 28 curlers register for that league.

ALL CURLERS are encouraged to get themselves on the waitlist should their desired league fill.  Every registration period, some waitlisters can be accommodated.  ECC needs to know how many curlers are interested in curling on a specific night in order to adjust league offerings to meet demand.
