ECC's Curling 101 is an instructional series paired with coached games, providing in-depth instruction in the basics of the sport with a goal of allowing students to join other leagues within the club and feel comfortable doing so. Some sessions include a league that mixes with some experienced players.
Lesson series are typically offered on Sundays from 10:30am-1:15pm or Mondays from 7:15-10:00pm.
Monday Winter 1 Session will meet on: January 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16. Meetings begin at 7:30pm. All meetings end at 10:00pm. This session is limited to 18 participants. $200
Monday Winter 2 Session will meet on: February 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Meetings begin at 7:30pm. All meetings end at 10:00pm. This session is limited to 18 participants. $200. Registration for Winter 2 opens in January.
Completion of Curling 101 is recommended for new curlers (but not required) before curling in a member league. Completion of a 2-hour introductory (Learn-to-Curl or similar) lesson is recommended prior to your first 101 lesson, however we can accommodate those who are unable to participate in one of our Learn-to-Curl or team event lessons.
