Evergreen Curling Club offers member leagues seven nights a week during the curling season, as well as some daytime sessions. We run three sessions per year. Current membership is required before you are allowed to register for a member league. All abilities are welcome, although we recommend participation in lessons or equivalent prior to joining a member league. Members are expected to provide their own equipment for league play, including grippers, however equipment may be borrowed by new members waiting for their equipment to arrive, or still sorting out what to order. Check out our equipment guide.
League registration is first-come-first serve after our pre-registration period. In the fall session, pre-registration is open to the top volunteers in the club from the previous season. For winter session, participants in full fall leagues may re-register for their spot during the pre-registration period. Not all leagues may be offered during all sessions. Tuesday night competitive league is for full, pre-made teams only. Individual registration is welcome in all other leagues. All of our leagues are "open" unless otherwise specified, meaning any gender or combination of gender may form a team.
Our curling season is divided into three sessions. Fall typically runs October 1 thru mid-December, or approximately 12 weeks. Winter typically runs January 3 thru mid to late March, or approximately 11 weeks. Spring typically runs mid to late March thru end of April, approximately 5-6 weeks.
ECC typically offers one Doubles league per session. Doubles is a version of curling played by two-person teams, using 6 rocks per team, but starting each end with one rock per team in play.
DUE to Covid-19, limited leagues are being offered in the 2020-2021 season.
