Bill look over Logan's shoulder watching a stone being delivered

In-depth strategy, how to read the ice

Advanced lesson series

Curling 201 was created as a follow-up to Curling 101, for curlers looking for continued instruction and coaching.  Participants may specifically be seeking formal coaching, or simply be looking for directed practice, or the support of a group while developing their curling skills.

Advanced work on:

  • Alignment & balance
  • Rules/etiquette
  • Timing & sweeping
  • Team roles & communication
  • Reading the ice
  • Strategy, strategy, strategy!

New skills are added and existing ones further developed to increase one's competitive understanding of the game.

This program will include some "homework" involving reading or watching videos from home.  The intent of homework is to "lock in" a past topic, or prepare for an upcoming one.  A written companion guide will be provided.
