Exceptions....
1. All 6 ends must be played in pool play. Concession is allowed only in the finals.
2. If a game is tied at the end of 6 ends, each team will choose 1 player to draw for the win. The team's designated thrower will throw 1 rock. Sweeping from the hog line furthest from the thrower and in is allowed (just like in gameplay) Defensive sweeping is not allowed. Closest to the button wins
3. In the Pools teams will be ranked by Win/Loss points where teams will be awarded...
3 points for an outright win
2 points for an overtime win
1 point for an overtime loss
0 points for an outright loss
4. Tiebreakers - First tiebreaker is head to head. If three or more teams are tied and head to head can not be used to separate them points scored will be the next tiebreaker followed by point differential (points for - points against)
Welcome to the home of Evergreen Curling Club's newest spiel...The Bare Bones Sticks and Stones Spiel. This event will take place the same weekend ECC hosts the U18 PNWCA Playdown. Here's the details...
Format : Sturling rules. 6 ends 6 rocks. (If you need to know how sturling works click HERE)
When : Nov 21-23 Draw times will intermixed with the U18 playdown. Expect to play during the day on Friday. Finals will be on Sunday BEFORE the 2pm league draw.
Number of teams : 8 max (2 pools of 4)
Number of games : 3 guaranteed...The top 3 teams in each pool will play 4
Cost : 90 bucks per team
Snacks/meals : Lots of snacks. No meals (that's the bare bones part)
